Equivital™ is about mobile human monitoring, or simply, life monitoring.
Today we have products created by our brilliant team of product designers, engineers, scientists and doctors. These products are superior in fit, form and function whilst providing what is widely seen as the most accurate and comprehensive data from the body in an ambulatory environment. Our current users are from a multitude of sectors who work with and benefit from human data ranging from healthcare and pharmaceutical to military and sports users.
The next 5 years will see a rapid increase in the uptake and availability of mobile human monitoring systems, propagating major advances in personalising healthcare and population wellbeing. Hidalgo continues to be a pioneer and international leader in this field.

Within 10 years we believe that there will be 1 billion potential users who will use at least 1 mobile human monitoring application, regularly in their life.
Hidalgo is a wireless innovations company based in Cambridge, UK. Since our founding in 1998 we have built up our reputation by developing wireless monitoring technologies and associated sensors for use in healthcare, home energy metering and wireless communications.
We work with business start-ups, SMEs as well as large corporates in a number of different territories worldwide.
Two key attributes which have enabled us to develop innovative products and become successful in the markets in which we operate are; our attention to application and user requirements and our commitment to quality at each stage of the design and manufacture process.
We operate under the EN13485 quality directive and we have extensive experience of the CE and FDA medical clearance procedures. We also have extensive experience in product design testing. We have our own electronics and textile manufacturing capabilities which make us efficient in our R&D cycles and manufacturing lead times. We also have rapid prototyping capabilities.
Hidalgo was acquired by the Jaltek Group in March 2008 and we now specialist product development company, manufacturing and marketing the Equivital™ products for mobile human monitoring.
