Equivital in Healthcare
Providing access to real time patient data and giving the ability to interact with, store and retrospectively review this at each point of the continuum of healthcare is essential to efficient and safe patient care. Hidalgo is working to deliver this as a reality through current and future Equivital products and systems.
Equivital Life Monitoring products such as the EQ-01 monitoring unit enable collection of patient data at each of the above examples of care environments and also seamlessly through multiples of these, enabling a care-provider access to real time or retrospective patient health, welfare or status data.
ADVANCED INFORMATION
This data will be available to view in a secure manner locally, or remotely via secure web access using the soon to be launched Equivital LiveLink web based software platform. This will be available as 2 releases each with different features- LiveLink Professional and LiveLink Enterprise
The LiveLink software platform will provide ease of Integration of required patient data into electronic patient records.
LiveLink (Enterprise version) will amongst other features allow the person being monitored to provide his/her own continuous, trends or point in time measurements to a health care worker from the comfort of their home.

Current Pilots and Trials
The Equivital EQ-01 Monitoring System has been used to support research for clinical trials and is currently in pilot phase at teaching hospitals in the UK and in non-conventional healthcare settings.
